I love them dearly, but they are driving me crazy!!!

I feel like I need a month's holiday at a Buddhist retreat. I'm not getting enough time to relax. It's incredible how hard it is having kids. Male politicians should have to a) have kids and b) played a very large part in their young lives, before they make any decisions regarding parents and children. Female politicians that already have children would know how it is. It's likely they had to look after the kids and go to uni, while the husband just went to work.

I seriously don't know how my wife does it. I find it so hard. But for me, so much of my childhood plays into my parenting and I find myself so incapable in so many situations. It is certainly a great learning experience, but at the moment I'd like a week to myself, just to chill, go and see a few movies, read a book, have time with my wife, that sort of thing. I suppose they will be moving out of home in the blink of an eye, and I'll be all nostalgic then. It's hard to see things from the centre sometimes.
