work

I've spent the last hour trying to come up with a good excuse not to go to work tomorrow. Not that I don't need the money, but I need the break even more. I drive taxis. The work is hard, as the shifts are long, and the money not very good. It's not something I can't wait to get up for, but on the other hand, I've had plenty of worse jobs. So far I'm down to 'the kids are sick and the wife has a prior engagement' or 'stomach cramps and diarrhea'. It doesn't matter that much in the end - I just like being convincing when I lie.
